# Application readiness review - October 15, 2026

**Historical first-pass snapshot:** see the [superseding maintenance outcome](https://www.goyonebydesign.com/apps/OUTCOME-2026-10-15.md) and [current version history](https://www.goyonebydesign.com/apps/updates/) for follow-up fixes, new source verification and remaining limitations.

This is a source/build review, not a production certification. The current catalog contains nine entries. The homepage additionally links Bibo's Giggles Fun Site; its runtime repository was not verified in the local project inventory, so it remains a separate source/access follow-up. Legacy names and independently versioned source must not be silently replaced.

| App | Verified source/status | Next high-value work |
| --- | --- | --- |
| MAX-ALPHA | Website max-alpha/ v1.16.4; separate MAX-G repository has a different baseline and security branch. New browser readiness panel tested at desktop/phone widths. | Reconcile independent baselines deliberately; protected provider backend and device-specific companion coverage before adding account plugins. |
| MAX-ZETA | Existing /pmix/ private workspace redirect; pmix-app/ source is separate. | Coordinate reporting/pancake work before changes; validate category/modifier totals and exports against fixed input fixtures. |
| VIEW4REAL | SightSync repository frontend type-check/build passes. Current 0.2.2 native source is on a separate handoff branch. | Reconcile native source, test real monitor restore/reset and signing; do not describe preview filters as clinical treatment or glasses replacement. |
| StockPilot | Current main includes catalog migration and product-media work; 284/284 mocked/local tests pass. | Controlled sandbox end-to-end store/supplier validation and restore rehearsal; preserve paused imports and reviewed write safeguards. |
| Questrix | React/Express source, type-check and build pass. Compatible dependency patches reviewed. | Authenticated/rate-limited server APIs, survey response persistence tests, permissions and smaller initial bundle before general hosting. |
| The Commissary | React/Express source, type-check and build pass. Android files are specifications, not a verified native installer. | Inventory concurrency/audit tests, server authorization and smaller bundle; validate OCR using synthetic invoices. |
| StatusPing | Offline Android source on main; 7/7 local tests plus type-check/build pass after documented placeholder config. Newer review source is on a separate handoff branch. | Reconcile newer source and phone tests, release signing and remaining dependency migrations. Recorded check-ins/local reminders do not establish delivered family alerts. |
| JustMyPick (formerly SavvyKin) | SAVVYKIN repository contains 0.36 source ZIP/debug APK; current catalog offers approved 0.38/build38 test APK. | Locate/reconcile matching current source before changes; backend/account access and physical-device mail tests remain separate. |
| BOARDROOM | Existing owner-private browser workspace redirect; no matching local runtime repository verified. | Verify private backend/source and real AI teammate connections; do not present configured preferences as connected services. |

## Comparisons and concrete gaps

These are scoped comparisons of documented features, not claims of equivalent reliability or recommendations to purchase services.

- MAX-ALPHA vs [WebLLM](https://webllm.mlc.ai/docs/): both can use in-browser GPU inference. A compatible browser/model remains a prerequisite; the new panel makes that visible. [Gemini](https://gemini.google/about/) offers voice, research and creative workflows, but those service features do not become MAX-ALPHA plugins by installing its UI. Prioritize protected integration and truthful connection status over an unverified model-name upgrade.
- StockPilot vs [AutoDS](https://www.autods.com/): overlapping catalog, stock/price monitoring, tracking and supplier workflows. The important gap is verified operation of each configured integration, not another dashboard. AutoDS also advertises sourcing and fulfillment; StockPilot's tests are mocked, not evidence of completed live fulfillment.
- Questrix vs [Google Forms](https://support.google.com/docs/answer/6281888): survey creation and response analysis overlap. Questrix needs behavioral tests for submission, access and persistence before being treated as a dependable feedback service.
- The Commissary vs [Sortly](https://www.sortly.com/features/): inventory, counts and multi-location organization overlap. Prioritize auditable movements, concurrent edits, barcode/QR verification and restore tests over unverified voice claims.
- StatusPing vs [Snug](https://www.snugsafe.com/): daily check-ins overlap; a local reminder is not an escalation service. A consented, durable alert workflow with delivery evidence would be a separate project requiring explicit service setup.
- VIEW4REAL vs [Windows color filters](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/accessibility/windows/use-color-filters-in-windows): display adjustment overlaps. Focus on convenient profiles, safe reset and monitor compatibility; no medical effectiveness inference follows.
- JustMyPick vs [Gmail categories](https://support.google.com/mail/answer/3094499): mail organization overlaps. Test categorization with reversible actions and account consent before background mail automation.
- MAX-ZETA vs [Excel PivotTables](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/excel/get-started/create-a-pivottable-to-analyze-worksheet-data): grouping/comparison overlaps. Restaurant-specific quantities, modifier relationships and reproducible exports are the valuable differentiation.
- BOARDROOM vs [Slack channels](https://slack.com/features/channels): organized conversations overlap. Source ownership, access control and actual teammate/provider execution still need independent verification.

## Scope and preservation

Original local checkouts were clean and left unchanged; review uses isolated copies fetched from existing GitHub remotes. No credentials, paid services, account permissions, DNS, native signing, database migrations or live supplier actions were configured. The public gallery remains preview-only. Private workspaces and native test downloads retain their existing boundaries. Builds do not prove deployment, physical-device support or protection of already-public source/history.

Rollback changed source with a history-preserving revert of its specific commit, reinstall from the restored lockfile and rerun the recorded checks. Never restore runtime/user data from a source backup. Newer handoff/review branches are evidence to reconcile, not permission to overwrite active work.
