Make yourself at home
Use Safari on your iPhone or iPad. If this page opened inside another app, copy the MAX-G link below and paste it into Safari.
Tap Open MAX-G to open the app on this website.
Look for the square with an upward arrow . Depending on your Safari layout, first tap More (…).
Scroll through the Share options; on iPad, More may reveal the option. If shown, turn on Open as Web App.
Keep the name MAX-G, then tap Add. Open MAX-G using its blue icon on your Home Screen.
Repeat on each iPhone or iPad. Apple asks you to add the app yourself; a website button cannot complete these steps for you.
Open MAX-G in an up-to-date Chrome browser on your Android phone or tablet.
Visit MAX-G on this website in Chrome.
Tap Chrome’s three-dot menu (⋮).
Depending on your browser version, the option may be Add to Home screen, followed by Install.
Confirm the browser’s installation prompt, then open the MAX-G icon on your device.
If installation isn’t offered, MAX-G remains available in your browser. Your browser controls installation availability.
Use MAX-G on your computer, or copy the link below to open it on your phone.
Visit MAX-G on this website in your preferred browser.
On supported macOS versions, choose File → Add to Dock, then Add.
Use the browser’s app-install icon or its menu’s Install this site as an app option, when offered.
Keep using that app for your Mac’s local AI and desktop tools. You don’t need a second Mac copy to install MAX-G on your iPhone.

Your installed iPhone and iPad app uses the same MAX-G web release. Updates arrive from this website when you’re online. Open MAX-G to check for a new release and apply it when you’re ready.
The Mac companion uses the shared interface too; Mac-specific software updates can require an app restart.
Choose your voice, enable sound and allow microphone or location access when you want those features. Each device has its own permissions, saved chats, settings and downloads.
App updates keep features aligned. They don’t automatically sync your personal data between devices.
After a successful online visit, the app interface can reopen from its offline cache. Local AI and local voices need their own completed downloads and compatible hardware. Live weather, search and online services need an internet connection. Your device may clear cached downloads when storage is low.
Chat, supported voice features, weather, places, animations and browser tools share the same app. Availability depends on your device and permissions; local AI also needs a compatible GPU and enough memory. Voice cloning, connected-account automation and direct computer controls currently require the Mac companion on that Mac. Your phone does not automatically connect to your Mac’s local services.
In MAX-G, open Settings → This device for a capability check.
Open MAX-G and use its sound controls to enable and test voice on this device. Turn up media volume and check whether audio is going to headphones or Bluetooth. Some voices require a separate download. If browser dictation isn’t available, use the microphone on your iPhone keyboard to dictate into the text box.
This is MAX-G’s free website-installed app. It opens from your Home Screen in its own app window. No App Store account, configuration profile or unsigned installation file is needed.
